98% of Network Marketers are Building The *WRONG* List…
Once upon a time I got invited to join a network marketing company. It was only a few days later that I realized that it wasnt anything like I expected it to be. I heard a stat that says something like 98% of all people who get involved in network marketing fail. Well I am convinced that I know why that is. I have an article about it and also a video, and I wanted to share it with you. Most of the article is written below, but you can find the original here: http://ezinearticles.com/?id=2223619
If you have ever been involved in a network marketing company, then this will not be the first time you have heard this. Actually, it was probably one of the first things you heard after you signed up.
What am I talking about? Making a list of people to contact about your business. Who do you personally know that’s wealthy? Who do you know that’s active in the community? Who do you know that’s self employed? And blah blah blah, the list goes on and on.
So you make a list of your top 20 people and it’s off to the phones you go. For most people, this is very uncomfortable, and for whatever reason, it also doesn’t get the job done. However, for the sake of this article, let’s just say that you have some success.
You talk to everyone on your list and you sign up 3 people into your business. (I know. I know. This number is EXTREMELY generous for most new network marketers) Now what to you do? You’re out of people to talk to. You may have gained some confidence from signing up your first few people, but now you are taught to become a “social butterfly” and meet new people anywhere and everywhere so you can introduce your opportunity to them.
You know what I’m talking about. Your sponsor tells you things like meet new people at the mall, and talk to people in line at the grocery store. If you a top notch networker, or perhaps a loving people person, then this is no big deal, but in most cases, this is where the statistic comes from that says 98% of all network marketers fail. This is simply the old school way of building a network marketing business.
So do you want to know how we do it now days? If not, then you better quit reading because I’m about to tell you anyway. If you want to be in the top 2% of the network marketers that exist today then you need to be building the same kind of list that they are building, and that is an email list of targeted prospects.
By building an email list, you are truly building an asset for you that will pay you for the rest of time. An email list gives you the opportunity to communicate and build relationships with thousands of people at the push of a button.
When you have a large list of people that you have built a relationship with, you can literally send one email and sign up 10 new people in your business, or make 30 or 40 sales of a new product that pays you an affiliate commission for each person you refer.
When you have this type of list, it doesn’t matter how bad of a sponsor you have, or what the economy does, because you can market anything you want to them for the rest of time. You have control of your own success in network marketing when you are building an email list.
I literally have thousands of interested people to talk to about my business opportunity and I never have to go “prospecting” or speak to strangers in the grocery store lines. The first month I learned this principle, I signed up more people in my business than I did the previous 3 years.
The main reason that so many network marketers fail is because they don’t have the right kind of training. I am a successful entrepreneur that shows people how to become better network marketers and explode their profits by using the power of technology. You can access my free 10 day training at: http://TheIncomeCoaches.com
Also, me and a group of friends have been invited to participate in the re-launch of a new network marketing company. You can learn more about it here: http://dna-aging.com.
